Brockton, MA (October 29, 2025) – The Roger Keith & Sons Insurance Agency (“Roger Keith”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information it maintains. Roger Keith is making individuals aware of a data security incident that impacted the Roger Keith network environment. Although Roger Keith has no evidence of financial fraud or identity theft directly related to this incident, Roger Keith is making potentially affected individuals aware of the incident and steps that impacted individuals can take to protect their personal information.

On January 27, 2025, Roger Keith learned that an unauthorized party gained access to one employee email account and the Roger Keith network environment via a remote desktop tool following a phishing attack. Upon learning of this issue, Roger Keith immediately launched an investigation and contained and secured the network and employee email account. As part of the investigation, Roger Keith worked very closely with third-party cybersecurity professionals experienced in responding to these types of incidents.

After a comprehensive investigation and manual review, which concluded on or about October 6, 2025, Roger Keith discovered that one or more of the files accessed and/or acquired by the unauthorized party contained personally identifiable information pertaining to a limited number of individuals.

The information involved in this incident includes first and last names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers with access information, driver’s license numbers, credit or debit card numbers with access information, passport numbers, mothers’ maiden names, military or other U.S. government-issued identification numbers, usernames and passwords, and limited health-related information. The types of impacted information vary by individual.

On October 29, 2025, Roger Keith mailed written notification letters to individuals whose information was determined to be involved this incident, to the extent valid mailing addresses were available. Roger Keith is also providing complimentary credit monitoring services to individuals whose Social Security numbers may have been involved.
